HAL problems when unmounting after physical removal of usb key

I think similiar problem hits us but with different symtomps, sometimes 
volume.mount_point is not filled by hal/or modified by KDE/ so trying to 
access the / ends with "permission denied" error, i cannot reproduce that but 
it occurs sometimes, whenever that error occurs lshal 
shows "volume.mount_point = ''  (string)" for /. 

I suspected KDE's media code but can't find enpugh time to have a look, if 
helps [1] is the logs of one of the our developers buggy session (im also 
CC'ing him)
