HID interface for joystick missing

Hello,

I've problems to detect the HID device of my USB joystick with HAL on
Gentoo.

Here are two screenshots that show the problem:

Ubuntu: (This is the OK case)

There you see a joypad below the HID interface section. The
capabilities are also shown.

Gentoo: (This is the NOK case)

There's no HID interface for the joystick device. So I couldn't see the
capabilities.

Any ideas why this happen on Gentoo and how to solve it?
