Problems with HAL?:

Hi,

I am having problems writing a CD with my CD-RW under Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn,
HAL 0.5.8.1): I do not recollect the problem in Edgy (used HAL 0.5.7.1).
Can you confirm this is a HAL problem?
The problem is not only the warning, but an inability to write CDs, as
Nautilus constantly requests that a new disk be inserted into the drive.

I have also used the backport of 0.5.9 to Feisty to no avail.
I have added comments to the following link: you can pick up the debug trail
from HAL there.
