Ok, I'm getting there with Fedora 7 and pm-suspend on this Dell Latitude
D600. The backlight wasn't coming back on, but the
power_management.quirk.radeon_off quirk seems to fix that. Patch for
20-video-quirk-pm-dell.fdi was:
30d29
< <merge key="power_management.quirk.radeon_off"
type="bool">true</merge>
Attached. I also have a fit with the Iogear Bluetooth mouse not resuming.
Setting up a unload_modules with
SUSPEND_MODULES="bluetooth hidp rfcomm l2cap hci_usb"
seems to work, but only if I use the Fn-F2 toggle to turn the Bluetooth
card off and then back on.
Sorry for not following the prescribed methodology, but I'm too old and
tired to install a source code management system to generate a two-line
patch.
Hope this helps someone. Oh, kernel is 2.6.21-1.3194.fc7. I'm not on the
list, so reply directly if more info is needed.
regards,
j.
