Yea, this is a real show stopper. It would mean that things would break
as soon as we put these properties into HAL. FWIW, I've reopened the bug
with more exact reasons here

I think this needs to be reverted until fallback code is in place and
gnome-icon-theme got the "base" icons for all the possible names in the
icon-naming-spec that HAL wants to use. Looks like we have to wait for
2.20 :-(
