Nowhere have I said all attributes have to be in the device name. That
would be pure madness. All I have said is the device name might as well
have a purpose and describe the device in some way and that way might as
well be machine readable.

If the field is missing, no colour is defined, just the same as if a
colour attribute file was missing.
