Strange, I can't reproduce missing DVD/CD volumes or media at all, this
works just fine on the boxes I have to hand. Could you send me the
output of ./run-hald.sh?

Should be fixed in patch in other reply - uses GINT_TO_POINTER rather
than a plain cast.
