I have replaced the AC_MSG_ERROR with a AC_MSG_WARN and print a big 
warning message in the configure summary. 

Btw. We should may think about a way to check if the installed hal-info 
package in the system match to the installed HAL version on runtime when the 
fdi-cache get generated.
