Looks fine to me, but note that the drivers do no longer support this
interface starting with 2.6.27, but use the generic rfkill subsystem
instead.
With this we no longer should need any polling.
Well the iwl* drivers use the new interface, someone (who has access
to the hw ;) ) might want to update ipw21(2)00 too.
