Hello,
It has been a topic here before on how to handle Xserver needing multiple 
devices added for single device. Not doing it in HAL makes sense, and IMHO 
using the dbus config interface is best.

Still, HAL could be useful to run whatever handles the mapping and pass on 
things it knows about the device added like its  device path and name. can 
that currently be done with a policy file?
