HAL does not detect and classify OSS4 devices

Hi all,

while HAL seems to work perfectly for OSS3 it doesn't work at all for OSS4 
(because of many changes in that version). E.g. KDE4 will depend on HAL's 
information to detect e.g. audio devices so it won't work with OSS4 right now 
just because of this missing support by HAL. What could be done to support 
it?
