USB Version and Speed

Hello all,

I've been thinking of writing something to catch instances where users
plug usb devices into ports which would be slow (i.e usb1.1) for that
device, examples such as usb hard drives, cdrom drives or networking
interfaces.

So I'm going to try and build a simple fdi file to catch usb version
problems and a script to warn the user on the desktop.

Has anyone got any objections or thoughts?
