[PATCH] Provide standalone SMBIOS management app

Hi Matthew:

Has that been accepted yet? I didn't think I saw it land on LKML yet,
but I may have been mistaken.

So (obviously), I've not actually used the kernel driver. I expect that
it will cause this to be no longer necessary, but it's still useful to
keep in place for when operating on an older kernel with a newer
userspace. Users on newer kernels with newer userspace can just build
without libsmbios.

Regards

HAL.

With the dell-laptop driver, is the libsmbios app actually needed for
later kernel versions?
