regexp in hal comparisons ...

Dear listmembers,
from what I've seen so far I know that hal can parse the xml files and can do 
comparisons.
Question: is it be possible to do a match containing regular expressions, 
i. e. (in my case)

<match key="@info.parent:scsi.model" string"C[0-9][0-9]70A">
 <append key ....
</match>

if you really want to see the pictures above - use some font
with constant spacing like courier! :-)
