Good - I'll write a patch for hal-info shortly.

Not really - but you can simply add the USB product id of your phone
(when it's in the PC Suite mode) to the list of Nokia ids in the
10-modem.fdi file. Then NetworkManager should see your phone as a
modem. There will not be a patch for that because this list will be
replaced by a modem prober program.
