I think I've seen similar spelling for "หมอน" in some manuscript
(e.g. [1], second page, line 3). But the VOWEL OA BELOW can also
be seen as being placed next to the subjoined MA, just like Lanna
ligatures for subjoined NA + VOWEL U Ed used to mentioned.
But the OA BELOW just takes more space in this case.

(Yeah, my font is rendering wrong here with Firefox/Harfbuzz, although it
rendered properly with old Pango 1.30. I'm trying to fix it.)
