Off the top of my head I don't remember any reports about problems with any
4.x, not in the past three years at least. There have been a couple lingering
issues with template instantiations that I could never reproduced. That one
is here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=60125
and it can be worked around for whoever does experience it.
