I did so, but it tells us nothing.

The basic invocation of 'make' previously built hb-view.  That's why
I was unsure of how to build it.  Now one needs GLIB, and even if I
attempt to use it with ./configure --with-glib, I am refused access to
hb-view because I only have GLIB 2.32.4, not 2.38 as required by
HarfBuzz.
