Not really. I just liked the idea of having a mirror that does not depend
on a proprietary service...

Right. I'm fine shutting down our fdo git repo and bugzilla. We shall
move our homepage soon and shut down the existing fdo one. For releases,
we can upload all our past releases on github and retire the fdo directory,
or keep it. I don't have a strong preference.
