That would be great! While developing this, I ran it with your patch and
I could see a significant improvement!

No, you can choose what format you "pin", like:
kms_fb_stress --primary-format=NV24

With this, the primary plane format will always be NV24 and the
others will change.

Do you think this is not clear in the commit msg or help text?
