polutes -> pollutes
I am also not sure if we should mention CI at all in kernel
code. You could rephrase the second sentence a bit to something
like this:
"The bug was found and fixed in later generations, but it
might pollute testing on older hardware, so disable it."

Treat the rephrasing as a suggestion though.

Also, as Kamil already pointed out in one of his replies, you
might want to submit this to a kernel mailing list. After that:
