For future submissions, please set format.subjectprefix in your IGT repository git config to "PATCH i-g-t", so subjects of your IGT patches always start with [PATCH i-g-t x/y].
Triple asterisks are part of placeholder - you can safely remove them.
Also, "IGT Test code" in subject of a patch sent to IGT mailing list is redundant.

An example of how the subject can look like:
[PATCH i-g-t 0/1] tests/intel/xe_sysfs_scheduler: Add invalid-string test
And when sending a new version:
[PATCH v2 i-g-t 0/1] tests/intel/xe_sysfs_scheduler: Add invalid-string test
