Sorry. I haven't tested in 20041202, since there was almost 
no time to work. But I have tested in 20041203.


In my environment (Debian sarge), I can input Japanese to Opera 
in on the spot style.

To be sure, Japanese cannot be inputted in KWord. I apologize for having 
not written result of test and investigation about the cause of this result. 


The cause of this operation is using QIMEvent for all committing string 
via XIM in qt-immodule patch. In original code, QKeyEvent was used except 
on the spot style.

I think that it is smart to modify KWord. But, probably, considering other 
applications, it will be better to commit decided characters using QKeyEvent 
except on the spot style.

However, there is no time to program now.
