Hello all, a very good news has come.
uim and related projects have been funded by IPA
(Information-technology Promotion Agency) of Japan, as a project
of "infrastructure improvement project for practical use of
opensource software".
The project is organized to improve Japanese input method
environment in partnership with several developer and an
opensource software company Good-Day Inc. The project is
intended to make opensource desktop usable in Japanese language
environment.
Although the project is focusing on Japanse input method, other
language environments are also improved by the development.
Following projects are supported by the joint development
project. We will bring valuable result to the input method
world.
