I think it is sufficient to treat the data according to text edit.
But, it is important that it can be treated.

I heard that it is possible to attach any number of layers property 
to text freely, in m17n library (http://www.m17n.org/m17n-lib/).
This function is adjusted to the demand.

It is japanese "hurigana".

Probably, it will be better to enable to add how many kind of 
character attribute (example CHISE).


BTW, I heard that it is necessary to enable re-converting surrounding text.
It is also convenient in Japanese, if the selected text is re-convertible.
Doesn't this function become realizable by InputMethodQuery?
