--- Comment #6 from Justin Brown <justin.brown at fandingo.org> ---
I apparently jumped the gun on comment #2. The latest Intel graphics release
seems to improve the problem a little (maybe 10-15%), but it still occurs.

I've had a brief correspondence with Karel, and it does seem to be related to
the Logitech wireless receiver. I switched from a Logitech Performance MX to a
standard USB mouse, and this problem does not occur.

The weird part is that I use this exact same model of mouse (and Monoprice USB
keyboard) at work with a HD Graphics 4400, and I have *never* had this problem.
I also bring this laptop home, and connect the keyboard and Logitech mouse from
my desktop to my 4400 laptop. The problem never occurs.

There has to be some interaction between the Logitech USB receiver and, umm,
something in the graphics stack with certain hardware. Due to the lack of any
useful log messages, I'm at a loss to come up with any idea on how to resolve
this.

Karel, could you tell me some more about your hardware? Does this happen on
multiple systems?

My hardware is:

Asrock Z87E-ITX
Integrated Broadcom 4352 (using Broadcom proprietary wl driver)
i7-4770

Full hardware info attached.
