           Product: Mesa
           Version: 10.5
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Drivers/DRI/i965
          Assignee: idr at freedesktop.org

dmesg output

965GM
system: Debian 3.2.46-1 x86_64
libdrm: 2.4.60
kernel: 3.2.0-4-amd64

Reproduce steps:
1. Start X server
2. Run glxgears (or any 3D/OpenGL software)
>> intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output error

Workaround with "LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1" works.

 sh -c "LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxgears"
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/tls/i965_dri.so
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/i965_dri.so
Running synchronized to the vertical refresh. The framerate should be
approximately the same as the monitor refresh rate.
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output error
