BTW, making the most of comment 2 and comment 3, and as we have been working
some time now, here an update.

We have a functional implementation of vertex_attrib_64bit for gen8. If someone
is curious:

Right now it passing all the piglit tests for that extension. That includes
those already included on piglit master, plus those that we wrote while working
on this extension, and that we also plan to send for review:

In any case, as mentioned on comment 3, they are still wip, and not ready for
sending to review. We are still testing and finding corner cases to test. And
as comment 2 points, there is a regression with Xorg font rendering.
