dmesg output with hangs

A week or so ago I had to reboot my laptop at work, and when it came back up,
all I saw was a cursor on a black screen, instead of my login prompt.

Hardware: Haswell i7 mobile (Core i7-4810MQ), 16GB RAM
OS: Ubuntu 16.04, x86-64, mesa/libdrm from git, kernel 4.6.3 from mainline
kernel ppa

I knew that this had been working as of my last reboot, and also with 11.2
installed, so I spent a bit of time last night bisecting down to:

During bisecting steps, I did a full power-cycle and cold boot, as warm reboots
did NOT necessarily reproduce the issue reliably. This is still an issue in
mesa git as of July 11.

dmesg is attached
