Is there a way to check for such support? I'm on Gentoo/Funtoo and I built mesa
with the dri3 flag on.

I tried running the demos from Sascha Willems. And every single of them threw
an error saying the support on IvyBridge is incomplete. That could be the real
reason but I'm just guessing.
