Jason, Mark, any news on this bug ?

Notice that I've extenced the Release Candidates period for 18.2 in order to
get room for fixing blockers from bug 107457.

If you don't think this can be solved in a reasonable period of time we should
target for 18.3 and warn in the release notes about the known reduction in
performance.

Please, let me know as soon as possible.
