Bug ID: 109076
Summary: [DXVK] Quake Champions loading screen defects and
textures disappearing while moving
Product: Mesa
Version: git
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/Vulkan/intel
Assignee: intel-3d-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: leozinho29_eu at hotmail.com
QA Contact: intel-3d-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
CC: jason at jlekstrand.net
With the game Quake Champions running using Steam Play 3.16-4 and 3.16-5 Beta
there are significant problems on loading screens: many elements of the screen
are blinking constantly.
A video showing the loading problem can be seen at:
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/457747189616214019/524176774192693249/quackchampions001.webm
After joining a match (which takes a significant time), all textures may
disappear for a brief time and reappear. This can be seen at:

In the DXVK logs (QuakeChampions_d3d11.log), the following error can be found
(I copied from the log):
err: D3D11: CreateGeometryShaderWithStreamOutput:
Transform feedback not supoorted by device
Which seems a bit strange as I remember there were commits about adding
Transform Feedback around 2 months ago and Quake Champions still do not detect
it.
I'm reporting this problem here as it was asked at:
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/225#issuecomment-447847290
System specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i3-6100U;
Video: Intel HD Graphics 520;
Architecture: amd64;
Mesa: 19.0.0-devel (git-7fe4e0ad5d);
Kernel version: 4.20.0-rc6-drm-tip-4ef95f23369b5408a57faa222c8c0f2bb8298de8+;
Distribution: Xubuntu 18.04.1 amd64.
