Downloaded and installed all updates.  Got a new modesetting_drv.so, but that
didn't fix the problem - still can't boot to desktop, and still getting GPU
hangs.

HOWEVER, when I remove modesetting_drv.so and intel_drv.so, and reboot, I DON'T
get any GPU hangs.
