The last 4 error states you added indicate that most of the units of the 3d
engine are not busy.

ACTHD does not seem to point to a location in the batch.

IPEHR is fairly weird too (last executed instruction):
 0x9e79016f (WTH is this?)
 0x710cdef8 (Still unknown...)
 0x70004000 (MEDIA_VFE_STATE, used for compute, but not present in the batch)

Also INSTDONE is bonkers :

  INSTDONE: 0xffdffffe
    PRB0 Ring Enable: false
    CS Done: false

  INSTDONE: 0xffd7fffe
    PRB0 Ring Enable: false
    GAM Done: false
    CS Done: false

Usually Ring Enable is true.

Does that look more like something that happens with display hangs?
