Screenshot showing the problem

openGL accelerated software like the kitty terminal emulator are unusable
because the fonts are not rendered correctly. Only seeing blocks and dashes in
several colors.

This is with MESA git (from padoka ppa) on Ubuntu 18.10

Rendering is correct on Mesa 18.3

Screenshot shows the problem in front of a bugzilla page with the same kind of
problem on RADV (Bug 109735)
