<pre>A work-around seems to be starting Libre Office without hardware acceleration
with the variable LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE
e.g. to start Impress from the terminal
$ LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 loimpress</pre>
