<pre>I applied the patch and the problems with text rendering no longer exist.
Considering that:
-i965 without workaround (always_flush_batch=true) has constant blinking
elements;
-i965 with workaround still has very rare blinking elements;
-i965 with workaround takes a strong performance hit;
-i965 with workaround performs the same as iris;
-iris (with <a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/merge_requests/431">https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/merge_requests/431</a>) has
what seems to be flawless rendering (Ultralow).
It's preferable to play DiRT Rally using iris than i965.</pre>
