<pre>I haven't encountered this issue at all since moving away from modesetting and
back to the intel DDX driver. So whatever extra exercises GLAMOR was doing may
be triggering the bug. I'm sure that doesn't help actually fix it but it might
at least help people experiencing it to have a more stable desktop.</pre>
