Can you please attach debug dmesg for this patch (with the "dump encoder
responsible for modeset" patch applied)? I still think that this is not
required and only results in pipes getting turned off too often. Which then
papers over a subsequent bug in the code. And we don't want to turn off pipes
if not required, eventually that should allow us to seamlessly take over the
bios configuration, speeding up boot times by quite a bit.
