Since keyboard nor network work for you on more recent kernels, I think we need
to get that into working order first (since without that there's not much we
can do). Can you please attempt to bisect where those regressions have been
introduced?

If you can, try to boot with drm.debug=6 on a 3.5 kernel and then stitch the
dmesg together from the logfiles in /var/log, maybe that gives us an idea as to
what's going on.
