Nope, we don't need any further options, since userspace can just set this like
the ddx can. If they want to.

Which means plymouth (or any other graphical boot-splash) needs to learn this.
And if you want this with the console something like kmscon is the right
answer. Adding more kernel parameters for random hacks is not something I want.
