0001-new-approach-for-the-edp-bpp-clamping-mess.patch does not resolve the
problem for me on 3.11-rc4 with my XPS 13. Both graphical corruption as well as
a very dark display, so actually worse than attachment 107087 (dark display and
no brightness controls but no corruption).

I'm happy to try any other approach; would like to get this resolved in the
3.11 cycle, still stuck on 3.9 here.
