Right click the link and save the attachment (or copy the contents from your
browser) to a file in the kernel folder (on Gentoo, something like
/usr/src/linux/bug55311-attachment107004.patch) and then go to that folder (on
Gentoo, /usr/src/linux/) and run `patch -p1 < bug55311-attachment107004.patch`.

Alternatively, only on Gentoo, you can place it in
/etc/portage/patches/sys-kernel/gentoo-sources/ and emerge the kernel package
again; this ensures that if the patch work it will be applied to future kernels
automatically so you don't have to do this manually every time.
