I have upgraded to a new version of Ubuntu now, which is using 3.10.0-6, as
well as the latest version of the BIOS for this board, from Intel. The second
screen is completely red, and link train errors are occurring:

The bug is certainly not fixed. There is no new information, because no further
information has been asked for until now, and I've purchased a cheap PCIe
NVidia card, so that I could get both monitors working in the meantime, as
being able to use both of my monitors is necessary. I didn't buy a second one
to never use it.
