HD4000 within ASUS UX31A, shim+grub2, ALT Linux, two distinct users; since
3.10.0 legacy boot or UEFI w/CSM enabled does work and UEFI w/o CSM results in
blank screen (no eDP backlight and no image).

We've bisected drm/i915 down to:

 drm/i915: convert DP autodither code to new infrastructure

Works for me under UEFI w/o CSM again.
