Hmmm, looks like fglrx is the bad boy here:(

running X11 with intel device driver makes the system continue after resume
from suspend-to-ram, tested with 3.10.9-gentoo.

Looks like the discrete gpu is just good for producing heat; will try to run
"intel+radeon" dual-X11 setup next (probably after August 31st)...
