Hi there, I can confirm this somewhat annoying bug on an Acer Revo RL80. I
build a few 3.8 kernels, but could not figure what is causing the problem.

I got the intel driver working with a kernel I build from the drm-intel-next
repo, dating to 26. Dec. The last working commit was before the merge with
kernel 3.8-rc1. Guess my build is around this tag: [1]

I am currently on Arch Linux and a bit short on time. intel_drm_regdump with
the working intel drivers here: [2]
