Please attach the dmesg Daniel asked for in comment #4 and again in comment #8.

Also, it's not clear to me how you switch between sources. Do you have to swap
the cables, or do you have both sources connected and switch inputs on the TV?
What if you unplug/replug, does it fix the output?
