I still experienced a hard crash of the entire system when bringing up a
complex page in Google Maps, even with this installed. So I've taken to
disabling all acceleration (NoAccel "true") - I definitely do not see the issue
then (although of course scrolling in Google Maps is slower, it does not crash
the machine).
