          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 71173
          Assignee: chris at chris-wilson.co.uk
           Summary: Display stutters after resume
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: thatslyude at gmail.com
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
            Status: NEW
           Version: unspecified
         Component: Driver/intel
           Product: xorg

Occasionally when my ThinkPad Helix enters sleep mode, after resuming the
display will begin to stutter very badly. Every few seconds the entire display
freezes for a split second, then resumes like nothing happened. The GPU
activity doesn't seem to be abnormal, and I can't find any relevant errors in
any logs.
This behavior is seen on Gnome 3.8, using xf86-video-intel version 2.21.13 on
Gentoo. The graphics card on this machine is a Intel HD 4000.
